Auxiliary & peripheral equipment

The equipment that sustains your operation also needs attention

Few systems focus on plant peripherals, yet an out-of-range condition there impacts the entire floor. We connect available signals from your equipment through sensors and cabinet integration.

Chillers & cooling systems

Continuous visibility into your process cooling conditions. Receive REX alerts when temperature or power draw leaves your configured range.

Typical variables: Supply/return temperature, flow, pressure, and electrical power (kW / A).

Pumps & circulation systems

Track pump operation and available variables to spot unscheduled stops, pressure drops, or changes in operating duty.

Typical variables: Operating state, line pressure, flow rate, current, and vibration (depending on instrumentation).

Air compressors

Monitor compressed-air supply and electrical demand. Check with REX if header pressure drops or if the unit keeps running off-shift.

Typical variables: Header pressure, on/off state, phase current, and cumulative energy (kWh).

Dryers & air treatment

Track key operating conditions to protect pneumatic lines, valves, and moisture- or temperature-sensitive processes.

Typical variables: Temperature, operating status, differential pressure, and electrical consumption.

Tanks, cisterns & levels

Visibility into tank levels and significant changes across water cisterns, chemicals, or raw-material silos. Configure alerts before reaching critical levels.

Typical variables: Continuous level (4-20 mA / ultrasonic / hydrostatic sensors) and high/low thresholds.

Other auxiliary equipment

Cooling towers, extractors, boilers, or utility panels. We evaluate your equipment and available signals to integrate it into your map.

Typical variables: 4-20 mA analog signals, digital inputs, pulse counters, and electrical metering.

A more visual way to stay on top of your plant

From monitoring to follow-up, on your gamified map and with REX

The gamified view makes it obvious which assets need attention; REX notifications and chat let you check what is happening and follow up without losing context.

01

Monitor on your gamified map

Place your chillers, pumps, compressors, dryers, and tanks on the Factory View. Check the status and configured variables of each asset at a glance.

02

Receive REX notifications

Set thresholds on available variables (temperature, pressure, level, power, or state). When a configured condition occurs, REX notifies your team right away.

03

Interact and follow up

Ask REX via WhatsApp, Telegram, or web chat how your equipment has behaved, set temporary watches, and log follow-up actions.

Real plant usage

Why maintenance and operations teams choose REX for peripherals

Where teams once relied on manual clipboard rounds, they now have continuous visibility of configured variables and timely alerts in the channel they already use.

OPERATIONAL USE CASE · MANUFACTURING PLANT

Monitoring cooling systems (chillers), compressors, and cistern levels

1. What they needed to watch

Spot return chilled-water temperature shifts, pressure drops in the compressed-air header, and low supply-tank levels before they affected main production lines.

2. What they monitor with Raptor

Temperature, pressure, and level sensors wired to cabinet Raptor units, plus electrical metering (kW and phase current) organized in the Factory View.

3. How they use REX

When a variable crosses its configured threshold, REX sends a WhatsApp or Telegram alert. The team checks recent history in chat and logs the corrective action.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about equipment monitoring with REX

What types of peripheral equipment can be monitored with REX?

Chillers, cooling towers, water or process pumps, air compressors, dryers, tanks/cisterns, and auxiliary electrical panels. We review the signals available on your equipment (such as 4-20 mA sensors, status outputs, pulses, or electrical metering) to confirm which variables can be integrated.

How do REX notifications and chat work?

You configure thresholds on your equipment variables (for example, chilled-water temperature, air pressure, or tank level). When a reading leaves the configured range, REX sends an alert via WhatsApp, Telegram, email, or web chat, and you can reply or ask questions to check equipment context.

What is the gamified plant view?

It is our interactive Factory View: a visual map where you arrange your peripheral equipment and machines just like your plant floor. Each asset shows its live status and, when clicked, opens its window with recent readings, comparisons, and history without losing sight of the rest of the operation.

What is required to install it on my existing equipment?

The Raptor unit installs in the equipment's electrical cabinet and connects to available sensors or signals. Installation time and exact variables depend on each asset's instrumentation; during the demo we review your specific setup.

Can I start by monitoring only my critical chillers, compressors, or tank levels?

Yes. Many customers start with the peripherals most critical to plant continuity (such as the main chiller, compressed-air header, or supply cisterns) and later add more equipment to the same map.
